Print Reading for Today emphasizes how prints have changed over the years. The symbology has been greatly expanded to assure one single meaning. This course introduces the student to this newer approach to describing mechanical parts.
This course is intended for anyone that needs to read and understand industrial and mechanical drawings. Emphasis is placed on understanding multi-view relationships, symbology and conventional dimensioning and tolerancing methods. Numerous exercises involving the reading of prints will be utilized throughout.
Once the student understands the concepts presented here, they should consider studying the subject of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) further. GD&T is considered “Today’s Print Reading”.
Print Reading for Today is offered On-Site, as a Corporate Webinar or Computer Based.
